Who Am I?
My name is Cj, and I am the "little brother" brother of Lynden David Hall. I'm also a visual storyteller and artist. If you'd like to learn more about me, feel free to visit my website at www.cjswaby.com.
So, why am I making this documentary now?
In 2026, it will be twenty years since my brother passed away. A lot has happened since then, and as many of you know, grief has a way of evolving over time.
To you, he was Lynden David Hall, but to me, he was simply my brother. His story wasn't defined by the cancer that cut his life short—there was so much more to him, and I want to share that with you.
Why? Partly, as a part of my own healing process (and for members of our family). I also feel strongly that his story remains incomplete, and I wanted to add my chapter to it. I'm a firm believer that if we don't tell our own stories, someone else will.
I also recognise that for many, his death came as a shock. His absence and unreleased music have left a void. My hope is that this two-part documentary will serve as a kind of remedy—a form of medicine for your pain.
